Gegründet wurde die Marke MAVALA 1958 in der Schweiz: von der in Belgien geborenen Madeleine Van Landeghem. Der Markenname MAVALA setzt sich aus den beiden ersten Buchstaben ihres Namens zusammen. Das erste Produkt der Marke war ein revolutionärer Nagelhärter, der die drei Schichten der Nagelplatte durchdringt und stärker miteinander verbindet. Nagelpflege ist bis heute ein Schwerpunkt der Marke.
&nbsp;1969 eröffnete MAVALA in London die erste Maniküre-Schule in London, der weitere internationale Aktivitäten folgten. Mittlerweile werden die Produkte der Marke laut eigener Angaben in 110 Ländern vertrieben. Tochterfirmen des Unternehmens MAVALA International SA existieren in Deutschland, England, Frankreich und den USA. Darüber kooperiert MAVALA mit 30 Kosmetikschulen in Frankreich, die die Nutzung der MAVALA Maniküre-Produkte lehren und die Methoden der Marke anwenden. MAVALA orientiert sich also international, ohne dabei jedoch die Schweizer Wurzeln zu vergessen.
<h3>Nagelpflege und Nagellacke von MAVALA</h3>
Von MAVALA erhalten Sie beispielsweise Nagellacke ohne Inhaltsstoffe wie Dibutyl, Formaldehyd, Kampfer, Kolophonium, Nickel, Phtalate und Toluol. Das unterstützt die Gesundheit der Nutzerin und schont zugleich die Umwelt. MAVALA Nagellacke existieren in zahlreichen Farben: Es gibt unter anderem das klassische Rot und Pink sowie exzentrischere Varianten wie Metallic, Gold, Silber, Blau, Schwarz und Orange.
Zur Nagelpflege dient beispielsweise das Nagelhautöl und die Nagelhautcreme von MAVALA. Sie machen die Nagelhaut geschmeidig. Brüchige und beschädigte Fingernägel kann man mit der NAILACTAN Nährcreme der Marke behandeln. Sie nährt die Nagelplatte, spendet ihr Feuchtigkeit und stellt so ihre Elastizität wieder her.
