„My address is Hollywood“, „Tiramisu for Two“ und „Love is in my Cards“: Das sind keine Flirtversuche eines verliebten jungen Mannes, der das Herz einer Frau erobern möchte. Es sind die Namen von Nagellacken der 1981 entstandenen Marke OPI. Mittlerweile ist die Marke weltweit bekannt. Eine Welt ohne OPI- Nagellacke oder den top Zubehören der Marke für die Nagelpflege, kann sich ein wahrer Beauty-Fan gar nicht mehr vorstellen. <h3>Die unfassbare Geschichte von OPI</h3>
Der Gründer der Marke OPI ist der in Ungarn geborene George Schaeffer, der mit seinen Eltern 1956 in die USA auswanderte. In seinem fortgeschrittenen Alter suchte er eine Herausforderung. Und so zog er 1981 nach Südkalifornien und kaufte dort eine kleine Firma und verkaufte Artikel für Zahnarztbedarf namens Odontorium Products Inc. (abgekürzt: O.P.I.). Mit Nagellack und Nagelpflege hat das alles bis hierhin scheinbar wenig zu tun, eigentlich sogar gar nichts!&nbsp;
Tatsächlich war OPI aber bereits damals auch eine begehrte Adresse für Nagelstylisten. Sie kauften bei OPI das eigentlich für Zahnprothesen vorgesehene Acryl. Warum? Weil es sich einfach hervorragend für ihre Zwecke eignete. George Schaeffer sah hier zu Recht eine grosse Chance und ging fortan mit dem Acryl erfolgreich auf Verkaufstour zu den Nagelstudios von Los Angeles.
So gewann OPI ein neues Profil und die Welt einen neuen Champion bei Nagelprodukten. Etwa acht Jahre später bot OPI erstmals Nagellacke an. Weitere Produkte folgten. Es sind viele geworden. Laut eigenen Angaben offeriert die Marke OPI heute unter anderem über 250 Nagellackfarben und bietet seine Produkte in über 100 Ländern an.&nbsp;
<h3>Das perfekte Finish mit OPI&nbsp;</h3>
OPI bietet Produkte für verschiedene Schritte der Nagelpflege an, um das perfekte Ergebnis zu erzielen. Für die optimale Manicure sollte man sich zuerst der Nagelpflege widmen, was die Nagelhaut entfernen beinhaltet, das Nägel feilen und nach Bedarf schneiden. Danach trägt man die Base Coat Lack auf. Die Base Coat dient für ein langanhaltendes Ergebnis. Weiter geht es mit den OPI Nail Lacquer. Dabei gibt es die OPI Nagellacke in den unterschiedlichsten Farben. Zum Schluss gehört der passende Top Coat Lack auf den Nagel. Et voilà. Das perfekte Finish.
<h3>Ein Blick auf die Produkte</h3>
Die OPI Lacke stellen die meisten der Produktlinien der Marke dar. Sie tragen Namen wie zum Beispiel <a title="always bare for yyou" href="https://www.perfecthair.ch/de/opi/always-bare-for-you" target="_blank">Always Bare for you </a>oder <a title="Venice" href="https://www.perfecthair.ch/de/opi/venice" target="_blank">Venice</a>. Bei der Produktion der Nagellacke hält OPI hohe ethische und ökologische Standards ein und produziert sie ohne Phthalate, Toluol und Formaldehyd. Darüber hinaus werden die Produkte an keinen Tieren getestet und sind Acetone-free. Die Produkte von OPI sind zudem besonders langanhaltend und deckend.
