TIGI ist eine in vielen Teilen der Welt bekannte Marke von Coiffeuren für Coiffeure, die längst auch bei vielen Kunden Kultstatus erreicht hat. Entwickelt wurde die Marke mit Produkten für Frauen und Männer in den 80er Jahren von den Brüdern Toni&amp;Guy. <h3>TIGI: Ein paar Infos zu Familie Mascolo</h3>
Bei Friseuren weltweit ist die Familie Mascolo sehr bekannt. Das liegt einerseits am Friseurunternehmen Tony&amp;Guy, das auf Initiative der beiden Brüdern Giuseppe und Gaetano Mascolo 1963 in London entstanden ist. Später stiessen mit Bruno und Anthony Mascolo zwei weitere Brüder hinzu. Zudem wurden die Familie Mascolo durch die Marke TIGI bekannt.
Der Markenname TIGI entstand 1982 auf einer Messe. Damals warben Toni&amp;Guy für ihre Produkte bei einer Messe und bekamen Probleme mit einem Unternehmen, das damals ein Produkt namens Toni Perm vertrieb. Toni&amp;Guy suchten daher nach einem neuen Namen für ihre Produkte und nahmen die Anfangsbuchstaben von Toni&amp;Guy. Daraus kreierten Sie TIGI.
1986 kam mit dem TIGI Styling Mousse das erste TIGI Produkt für den Einzelhandel auf den Markt. Das war der Start für den Verkauf von TIGI Produkten an Privatkunden ausserhalb von Salons und ein weiterer Meilenstein auf dem Weg zu einer Kultmarke. Die Marke TIGI ist auch heute noch eng mit der Familie Mascolo verknüpft. Anthony Mascolo war 2003 der Gründer des TIGI International Creative Teams und stand ihm auch 2017 noch vor. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Pat Mascolo leitet er zudem die globalen TIGI Shows.

Produktlinien von TIGI sind beispielsweise Bed Head, Catwalk, Hair Reborn und S Factor. Die Linie Bed Head bietet Produkte für Haarwäsche und Haarpflege sowie Produkte fürs Hairstyling.&nbsp;Die Wurzeln von <a title="Bed Head" href="https://www.perfecthair.ch/de/tigi/bed-head">Bed Head</a> reichen zurück ins Jahr 1996.
