Wenn die Markengeschichte stimmt, verdanken wir die Marke Agave der Grossmutter des Agave-Gründers Fernando Romero. Sie hatte sich bereits mit der Herstellung von Haar- und Schönheitsprodukten beschäftigt, als Fernando Romero noch ein Kind war. Und Fernando lernte damals von ihr. Ihr Rezept basierte auf natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen und war die Basis für die heutigen Agave-Produkte. Gemeinsam ist den Produkten der Marke, dass sie Agave-Öl enthalten. Es spendet dem Haar Feuchtigkeit und glättet es. Aber Agave-Produkte können noch mehr.
<h3>Die Marke eines Branchenstars</h3>
Fernando Romero ist nicht nur der Gründer der Marke Agave, sondern ein bekannter Meisterfriseur mit einem Salon in Beverly Hills sowie der Gründer des 1997 entstandenen, Luxus-Haartools entwickelnden Unternehmens BioIonic.
Romero wuchs mit seiner Grossmutter in Acapulco (Mexiko) auf. Damals pflückten sie alle benötigten Pflanzenbestandteile für ihre Produkte von Hand und nutzten neben Agave-Essenzen beispielsweise Vanille und Kokosnuss. Die Bestandteile wurden erhitzt und anschliessend weiterverarbeitet.
<h3>Agave-Öl ist wertvoller Bestandteil der Produkte</h3>
Ursprung des Agave-Öls ist die mexikanische Blue-Agave-Pflanze. Die Blaue Agave wird auch Agave tequilana genannt. Sie ist sehr zäh und wächst in Wüstenregionen, weshalb sie viel Feuchtigkeit speichern muss. Möglich wird das Speichern durch die Aminosäuren der Agave. Sie sind im Agave-Öl als Wasserspeicher enthalten und versorgen das Haar mit Feuchtigkeit. Der Aminozucker hat ebenfalls eine Funktion: Er gibt den Haaren Spannkraft und eine neue Struktur.
Aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit spendenden Wirkung des Agave-Öls ist das Öl natürlich gut geeignet für besonders trockene und widerspenstige Haare. Es bekämpft Frizz und verwandelt angegriffenes Haar in gesundes. Aber es ist natürlich nicht alleine das Agave-Öl, welches den Produkten der Marke ihre Wirkung verleiht. Neben dem Agave-Öl enthalten einige Agave-Produkte zum Beispiel Baobab-Samenöl, Bestandteile der Sonnenblume sowie Distelöl, Vanille oder Kokosnuss. Und das Zusammenspiel der einzelnen natürlichen Inhaltsstoffe sorgt nicht zuletzt für einen sehr schönen, langanhaltenden und natürlichen Glanz der Haare.
<h3>Von Agave gibt es nicht nur Haaröl</h3>
Zum Produktsortiment gehört einerseits das Agave Healing-Öl. Andererseits gibt es von Agave zum Beispiel Shampoos zum sanften Entfernen von Schmutz und Stylingrückständen sowie sanfte und pflegende Conditioner und eine das Haar stärkende und hydratisierende Maske.
Darüber hinaus erhält man unter dem Markennamen Agave Produkte wie Bürsten aus umweltfreundlichem, natürlichem Bambusholz sowie mit Dampf arbeitende Glätteisen. Beim eingesetzten Dampf handelt es sich jedoch nicht um reinen Wasserdampf. Zum Verdampfen wird vielmehr die Agave „Healing Vapor Infusion“ genutzt. Sie enthält den Pflanzenzucker der Agave, der das Haar stärkt und versiegelt. Und auch hier gilt: Natürlichkeit ist Trumpf. Agave enthält nichts Anderes als natürliche Inhaltsstoffe. Natürlich GUTE Inhaltsstoffe!
