We recently added the New York brand Danessa Myricks Beauty to our shop and even before I could test anything myself, I was simply blown away by the sight of the eye shadows shimmering in a thousand colours. When I found out who was behind the brand and that their mission is to offer products for all skin tones and skin types, I thought I simply had to tell you more about Danessa Myricks Beauty.

Rather, it is about empowering people to express themselves creatively and confidently. It doesn't matter what gender, skin colour or age the user is. Danessa Myrick's beauty is for everyone, which is also reflected in her campaign photos featuring people of all ages and backgrounds.
The products are highly pigmented and long-lasting, so they are loved by amateurs and make-up professionals alike. The versatility and multifunctionality of many products is also a big plus. This means you can use them in different ways on different parts of the face and experiment to your heart's content.
Female Founder: Danessa Myricks
Danessa Myricks is an absolute role model. Although she has no training in the beauty industry, she has made it all over the world with her own brand from Queens, New York.
And she has done so with great determination. The single mother of two children originally worked in the medical field, but needed more flexibility in her professional life for her personal situation. She switched to the publishing industry and focussed on the beauty industry, where she quickly developed a passion for the creative possibilities of make-up.
She is a self-taught make-up artist and quickly began working as a make-up artist and photographer. She learned various techniques and also how the formulas of the individual products are put together. The desire to develop products that precisely meet her needs at work soon grew. This is how Danessa Myrick's Beauty was born.
Today, Danessa shares her techniques and knowledge in workshops and on social media. Her basic idea is always to promote diversity and a community of learning and creativity in the beauty industry.

Step-by-step tutorial with @F.a.l.d.e_Makeup
Our influencer @F.a.l.d.e_Makeup, who always blows us away with her eye make-up, was also thrilled when she found out that we now have Danessa Myrick's Beauty in our range. As a beauty addict, she really appreciates high-quality make-up. She created a beauty tutorial for us with the Infinite Chrome Flakes in the colour Pixie Dust. But the other colours in the range are also really impressive. Doesn't the photo remind you a little of the book ‘The Rainbow Fish’?
Step 1: Prime your eye and create the ideal base for your eye make-up.
Step 2: Apply anthracite-coloured eyeshadow to the upper lid.
Step 3: Blend the eye shadow well to create the perfect contour.
Step 4: Now apply the Infinite Chrome Flakes to your mobile eyelid with a brush.
Step 5: Use a liquid black eyeliner to draw a classic eyeliner line over it.
Step 6: Apply black mascara to your eyelashes and use fake eyelashes if you like.
Step 7: Add black kohl to the lower waterline for even more expressiveness.
Step 8: Draw a soft line on the lower eyelid with a dark eye shadow.
Step 9: Finally, apply mascara to the lower lashes. Your magical eye make-up is finished.

The Yummy Skin Collection is the skincare line from Danessa Myricks Beauty. The products are designed to pamper the skin and give it a dewy, hydrated finish. They contain the Moisture Repair Complex, which includes kukum butter, squalane and jojoba oil for good moisturisation. There is also anti-inflammatory blue tansy flower and - last but not least - centella asiatica, which you will no doubt already be familiar with from K-Beauty.
