In the test: Finally striking eyelashes - Lashlifting in the salon
Long-lasting, curved lashes without eyelash curlers or artificial lashes? Our colleague Dominique has tested the eyelash lift in the salon and tells you how satisfied she is with the result.
Important facts about the lash lift
The treatment lasts about 60 minutes and promises an intensive lash curl that should last up to six weeks. With a special perming serum and a template, the lashes are curved upwards in a sweeping manner.
How does the eyelash lift work?
- First, the lashes are carefully cleaned of mascara and other residues. The next step is to tape off the lower lashes so that they do not get in the way during the lift.
- In step two, a silicone template is glued to the eyelid above the lash line. The lashes are fixed here with a serum that opens up the structure of the hairs.
- After the application time of about ten minutes, another serum is applied. This then ensures that the perm is fixed and lasts. This is also left on the eyelashes for 10 minutes.
- Finally, the residue and the stencil are removed. To make the result of the lift really visible, the eyelashes are coloured. This also makes the light tips of the hairs visible.
Before and after
The result is impressive: The lashes look visually longer and are perfectly curved. The eyelash curler can now be omitted in the morning.
Conclusion on Lash Lifting
That was definitely not my last eyelash lift. The next morning I got up and just left the house without make-up, because I didn't have to apply any more mascara. I didn't really expect that and I'm more than happy!
